How I created my Resume from Scratch

A very close friend of mine named Humberto told me that I have a lot of extraordinary abilities and that I should apply for a job, but not just any job, he told me "shoot big!".

Of course I took his word for it and decided to start the journey of creating my resume.

At first I had no idea how to start, I wrote the projects that I have done and chose those that would best suit the position I want (AI Developer or Data Scientist Engineer), everything went well although at this moment I felt that it looked too flat , something was missing, my essence, to give that unique and pleasant style to whoever reads my resume, so I put some color on it and divided it better, I also added my touch when writing what I did in each project and job.

I also added my work experience, it must be said that in this job I have learned a lot, now I am a very responsible and determined person. The good experiences were not lacking and like my co-workers, I have grown a lot in Financial Health although I feel that it is time to move on.

After adding the most relevant of my career until now, I decided that it was almost time to publish it, although as it was my first resume I decided to turn to a very valuable friendship that I have in Canada (if you read this Javi, you have helped me a lot in my career and I appreciate you very much for that!) and he reviewed my resume, corrected me some things and gave me very good tips.

While I had my friend's response, I posted on twitter if anyone could help me review my resume, I got some responses and they helped me correct other details (I felt in the clouds because they congratulated me on my resume and my projects).

In this post I will highlight two people:

To Novall Swift (@NovallSwift) Data engineer from Apple who is one of the people I admire the most on Twitter and Apple, I follow her blogs called "A day in the day of an @Apple Engineer" which are phenomenal! She is a very beautiful person, she encouraged me more to apply for that internship at Apple and gave me some very valuable advice, if you ever read this Novall, thank you very much!

Another valuable person was Silvia Oliveros (@Soliverost), Apple Data Engineer, I really couldn't believe what was happening she sent me a message offering to help me review my resume in such a kind and humble way that I was impressed.

I knew that Apple is a huge technology company and that it is worth millions but now I realize that Apple is much more and that the most valuable thing it has inside are the people who collaborate there, they are so enthusiastic, humble and empathetic that it has truly become my dream to work there, thank you very much for reading me and I hope you have a nice day! (Take good care and put on your face masks, we will soon come out of the pandemic)
